Terms & Conditions

By using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If we learn that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to terminate their account.

Ediphai provides two categories of services:

Consumer Services (the “App”): The Ediphai mobile application, available on iOS and Android, offers AI-powered coaching (text and voice), daily reflections, a Growth Profile, a spiritual gifts assessment, and related features for individual users pursuing spiritual formation.

Church Platform Services (the “Platform”):The Ediphai church data intelligence platform, offered to churches and religious organizations (“Church Partners”) under separate agreements, includes the Ediphai data intelligence platform, Edi (an AI assistant for church leaders), the Ediphai Console, and MCP Connectors that integrate with church management systems such as Planning Center, Pushpay, Tithe.ly, Rock RMS, and others.

The specific features available to you depend on your subscription tier, whether your church is an Ediphai partner, and the terms of any applicable Church Partner agreement.

You agree not to misuse the Services, interfere with their functionality, or use them in ways that violate laws or harm others. You agree not to attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions, access controls, or usage limits through any means. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Services. You may not use the Services to build a competing product or service, or to systematically extract or collect data from the Platform.

Individual Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Church Partner Access

If you access the Platform as an authorized user under a Church Partner agreement, your access is subject to both these Terms and the terms of that agreement. Your Church Partner may designate your role and associated permissions. If your relationship with the Church Partner ends or the Church Partner’s agreement with Ediphai terminates, your Platform access will be revoked accordingly.

Role-Based Permissions

Access to Platform features and data is governed by role-based access controls configured by the Church Partner. You may only access the data and features assigned to your role.

Free and Paid Tiers

The App offers a free tier and a paid tier (“Ediphai Premium”). The free tier provides access to core app features with certain limitations, including a daily limit on text coaching messages. Ediphai Premium unlocks unlimited text coaching and voice coaching access. We reserve the right to modify the features included in each tier at any time.

Pricing

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region based on App Store pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. You will be notified in advance. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply upon renewal.

Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial of Ediphai Premium. The trial provides full paid-tier access. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the paid plan you selected, and you will be charged accordingly. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per Apple ID or Google account.

Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable subscription price to your App Store or Google Play account upon renewal.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until your current period expires. Ediphai does not process cancellations directly; all subscription management is handled through the applicable app store.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. Ediphai does not issue refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, contact the applicable app store.

Church-Subsidized Access

If your church is an Ediphai partner, you may receive Ediphai Premium access at no personal cost. To activate this, select your church in the App’s settings. Church-subsidized access is subject to your church’s ongoing partnership with Ediphai. If the partnership ends or you change your church selection, your access will revert to the free tier, and you will have the option to subscribe individually.

App Store Terms

Your subscription is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the applicable app store’s terms regarding billing, payments, or refunds, the app store’s terms will govern.

Platform Agreements

Church Partners access the Platform under a separate Master Service Agreement (“MSA”) and Statement of Work (“SOW”) that govern the scope, pricing, and terms of the Platform engagement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the MSA or SOW, the MSA or SOW will govern for matters related to Platform access.

Church Data

Church data ingested into the Platform through connected church management systems remains the property of the Church Partner. Ediphai processes this data solely to deliver the contracted services. Church data is never used to train AI models, build features for other churches, or shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver the Services.

Data Isolation

Each Church Partner’s data is stored in a logically isolated environment, separate from every other church’s data.

Integrations

The Platform connects to third-party church management and giving systems through data connectors. The availability and functionality of these integrations depend on the APIs and access provided by the third-party systems. Ediphai is not responsible for outages, data discrepancies, or limitations of third-party systems.

All content, features, technology, and branding in the Services are owned by Dream Releaser LLC or our partners and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute content without permission.

Outputs generated by Edi or the AI coaching features are provided for your use within the scope of the Services but do not transfer ownership of the underlying models, algorithms, or technology.

Reflections, prompts, coaching conversations, responses, and data insights generated or delivered through the Services are for personal growth, ministry guidance, and operational support. While we strive to provide meaningful and accurate content, it may not always be error-free or complete. You are responsible for how you use this content.

AI-powered coaching and insights are not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, pastoral guidance, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

Church data insights provided through the Platform are informational. Decisions based on these insights remain the responsibility of the Church Partner and its leadership.

We strive to keep the Services running smoothly, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time. For Church Partners, service-level expectations, if any, are defined in the applicable MSA or SOW.

The Services are provided “as is.” We are not responsible for any damages resulting from your use of the Services, including reliance on AI-generated outputs or data insights. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. For Church Partners, liability limitations in the MSA or SOW will govern where applicable.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dream Releaser LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or misuse the Services. If your account is terminated for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period. For Church Partners, termination procedures are governed by the applicable MSA or SOW.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes (such as changes to subscription terms, pricing, data handling, or billing), we will notify you through the App, the Platform, or by email. Continued use of the Services after updates means you accept the revised terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Church Partners with an MSA that includes a separate dispute resolution clause will be governed by that clause for disputes related to Platform services.
